Introducing Universal Green...the New Green St Alcohol Resistant Fluorine Free Foam (F3)

The new state-of-the-art Foam is the gold standard for fighting and suppressing high risk, flammable liquid fi res and our UniversalC6 Gold is the stateof-the-art in C6 foam technology. Today, environmental, health and safety concerns have given rise to a need for a Fluorine Free Foam, particularly for use where the foam cannot be contained to prevent ground or water infiltration. Introducing UniversalF3 Green™, the new “green” standard in foam fire suppression.

High performance with minimal environmental impact
UniversalF3 Green is a unique, patented foam with no added fluorine, fluorosurfactants, fluoropolymers, organohalogen, PFAS, PFOA and PFOS. When environmental impact is a primary concern, UniversalF3 Green is ideal. It is biodegradable and is especially suited for emergency incidents where the containment of fire water runoff cannot be guaranteed.

Effective and efficient
UniversalF3 Green provides a vapor suppressing foam blanket on unignited hydrocarbon spills and polar solvents. It produces a vapor sealing blanket of foam that rapidly spreads over the surface of the fuel to efficiently control and extinguish the blaze. It is intended for use at 3% using standard foam proportioning equipment and should be used with air aspirating discharge devices such as low expansion branch nozzles.

Ideal for high-risk situations
UniversalF3 Green is ideal for use wherever oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, or aviation fuel are stored, processed, transported, or used. It can also be used on polar solvents such as alcohol, ketones, esters, and ethers. UniversalF3 Green can also be used for combating Class A fires.

Chemguard C137 1x3 AR-AFFF

Available in 5 Gallon Pails, 55 Gallon Drums and 265 Gallon Totes.

CHEMGUARD C137 1x3 AR-AFFF (Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam)
Concentrate combines fluoro- and hydrocarbon-surfactant technologies to provide superior fire and
vapor suppression for Class B, polar solvent, and hydrocarbon fuel fires.
This synthetic foam concentrate is intended for forceful or gentle firefighting applications at 1% solution
on hydrocarbon fuels and gentle firefighting applications at 3% solution on polar solvent fuels in fresh, salt, or hard water.

CHEMGUARD C137 foam solution utilizes three suppression mechanisms intended
for rapid fire knockdown and superior burnback resistance:

  • The foam blanket blocks oxygen supply to the fuel.
  • Liquid drains from the foam blanket and forms either:
  • An aqueous film on a hydrocarbon fire, or
  • A polymeric membrane on a polar solvent fire which suppresses the vapor and seals the fuel surface.
  • The water content of the foam solution produces a cooling effect for additional fire suppression.
CHEMGUARD C137 Concentrate is a non-Newtonian fluid that is both pseudoplastic and thixotropic; therefore, dynamic viscosity will decrease as shear increases.

The CHEMGUARD C137 1x3 AR-AFFF
Concentrate formulation contains shortchain, C6 fluorochemicals manufactured using a telomer-based process that produces no PFOS.

Ansulite A1371%x3% AR-AFFF

Available in 5 Gallon Pails, 55 Gallon Drums and 265 Gallon Totes

Ansulite™ A137 1%x3% AR-AFFF (Alcohol-Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foam)
Concentrate is formulated from special fluorochemical and hydrocarbon surfactants, a high molecular
weight polymer, and solvents. It contains no PFOS or PFOA. It is intended for use as a 1% proportioned
solution on hydrocarbon fuels and as a 3% proportioned solution on polar solvent fuels in fresh, salt, or
hard water. Water hardness should not exceed 500 ppm expressed as calcium and magnesium.

This agent can be use on conventional Class B hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, diesel fuel, etc. or a
Class B polar solvent (water miscible fuel) such as methyl alcohol, acetone, etc. Its excellent wetting
characteristics make it useful in combating Class A fires as well. Because of the low energy required to
make foam, it can be used with both aspirating and non-aspirating discharge devices. To provide even
greater fire protection capability, it may be used with Purple-K dry chemical extinguishing agents
without regard to the order of application to provide even greater fire protection capability.

  • Liquid drains from the foam blanket and forms either:
  • An aqueous film on a hydrocarbon fire, or
  • A polymeric membrane on a polar solvent fire which
suppresses the vapor and seals the fuel surface.
